YES, JOBS

New York Youth club members not only enjoy the many all expense paid trips, activities, educational seminars etc. They also enjoy earning their own money and learning job skills that will prepare them for the future. 

The teens are picked up and dropped off at their home every day they work so they don't have to worry about transportation. They work in groups with other students between the ages of 14-17 and are supervised by an adult. They are paid per item sold and an average member earns approximately between $100-$175.00 weekly. They are paid on days designated by the team leaders for not all kids work the same schedules. The kids will receive a bi weekly pay stub for what they've earned. So parents are able to monitor the teens income.

Pick up and drop off hours

• Weekdays: pick up between 4:00-4:30 pm / drop off between 8:30-9:00 pm These hours are for during the school year.
• Saturdays: Pick up between 8:00-8:30 am / drop off between 8:30 -10:00 pm depending on activities
• Sundays: Pick up between 8:30 -9:00 am drop off between 6:30 7:30 pm or later depending on activities
  

The teens are taken to safe areas and talk to people at their doors (yes, door to door) explaining the many benefits the program provides them. The teens are trained and carry with them various private labeled fundraising products such as: cookies, candles, candies, dog treats etc. They wear a safety vest, have picture ID badges.

Our teens are at risk youth who usually have nothing to do after school or during the summer which can lead to negative actions. Through statistics, what we do is safer than High School sports, league sports, park sports and hanging out on the streets. The teens are also covered while working and on activities through Hartford Insurance Group.
